The European data protection day
In 2006, the Council of Europe decided to launch the Data Protection Day, to be celebrated each year on the 28th of January, in order to raise awareness and promote privacy and data protection best practices for the protection of personal data.
On 28 January 2022, the 16th edition of Data Protection Day will be celebrated globally.

- Technical and organisational measures aiming at the security of personal data
- Processing of personal data based on the principles of transparency, confidentiality and necessity/minimisation of the data being collected and transmitted
- Continuous training and awareness raising of its personnel
- Establishment of direct communication channels facilitating natural persons’ exercise of their lawful rights
The key to the protection of the personal data processed by doValue, besides the adoption of technical and organizational measures, is primarily its people.
The respect of natural persons’ privacy in combination with the implementation of a strong data protection and security framework is doValue’s top priority.
