The company “doValue Greece, Loans and Credits Claim Management Société Anonyme” (hereinafter “doValue Greece” or the “Company”), with a view of ensuring the safety and protection of the health of its visitors and staff, takes all the necessary measures to deal with the COVID19 pandemic, by implementing a system of automatic temperature measurement for everybody who accesses the company’s premises in Moschato, Greece (27 Kyprou and Archimidous and 75 Florinis streets) as well as in Thessaloniki, Greece (18 Leontos Sofou str.).
 

To this end, thermal-imaging cameras have been installed at the entrance of the above premises in order to enable the safe and remote measurement of the temperature of people entering our premises to avoid endangering the health of our employees and reduce risk of spreading COVID19 virus.

We should point out that doValue Greece, takes the above protective measures and in parallel ensures the protection of your privacy and personal data which is processed. For this purpose, doValue Greece, as Data Controller of your personal data, and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and law 4624/2019 for the implementation thereof, informs you about the following:

1. What personal data we process

doValue Greece, instantly processes your image with a parallel indication of your body temperature, in order to determine whether it is within the normal limits, as such limits have been determined or are occasionally determined by the National Public Health Organisation and the occupational physician of doValue Greece. The aforesaid data is collected directly from you when entering the premises of doValue Greece.

We note that with the use of thermal-imaging camera we only process your personal data instantly and we do not record or retain such data for a further period of time.

In case your temperature is found higher than normal, temperature measurement will be performed with a use of infrared thermometer and in case of re-detection of high temperature your entrance to the premises of doValue Greece will not be allowed.

2. Purposes for automatic temperature measurement and legal basis for processing of your personal data by doValue Greece

Temperature measurement is performed in order to avoid the risk of the appearance or spread of the new COVID19 virus in the premises of doValue Greece and ensure the protection of the health and safety of our visitors and employees, especially those belonging in vulnerable groups.

Performance of temperature measurement through automated means (i.e. with the installation of thermal-imaging cameras at the entrance of doValue Greece’s premises), is the safest method of body temperature measurement as it guarantees the maintenance of distance and the constant flow rate of incoming people to avoid overcrowding.

The legitimate reasons for processing your personal data under the above process, which is performed by doValue Greece in accordance with the applicable provisions of the GDPR, law 4624/2019 for the implementation thereof and the relevant guidelines of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority are the following:

  1. doValue Greece’s requirement for compliance as employer and Data Controller of your personal data, with its legal obligations, and in particular with the obligation to take the necessary measures for safety and hygiene in the workplace, as defined in Law 3850/2010;
  2. the protection of public interest in the area of public health, especially protecting against serious cross-border health threats.

3. Who has access to the personal data

Please note that access to your personal data will be limited. Specifically, access will be available exclusively to:

  • doValue Greece’s employees specifically authorized for this purpose; and
  • the competent employees of the security services company used by doValue Greece, who are in charge of the control and protection of our premises. It is hereby noted that the aforesaid security services company acts as a data processor of your personal data on behalf of doValue Greece.

4. Retention period and exercise of rights

As there is no recording performed by the thermal-imaging cameras other than the instantaneous display for body temperature measurement purposes, your rights to access and delete your personal data do not apply.
