Environmental Conscience
At doValue Greece we know that great results come from many small individual acts of responsibility.
This is why we support, organise and promote a series of actions to reduce energy consumption and recycle materials.
Energy performance at our office building
doValue Greece's head offices are located in a building owned by another company. That company is responsible for managing all environmental aspects and implementing energy performance measures.
It has adopted an environmental management system in line with ISO14001, ISO50001 and EMAS standards.
Furthermore, the building is LEED certified (Gold Certification).
The owner of the building has also taken measures to reduce energy consumption:
- Energy meters
- Thermal management system
- Temperature sensors in AC piping
- BMS software upgrade for monitoring energy consumption
Recycling
We promote recycling and replacement of materials by:
- Recycling all decommissioned equipment and consumables from the IT Department.
- Shredding all confidential documents and sending the paper for recycling.
- Placing glass and plastic recycling bins on every floor of the building.
- Placing battery recycling bins at the entrance of the building.
- Replacing old or faulty lights with LED lighting in the building interior.
