How to update your company information

Make an appointment at a Eurobank branch to update the information of your company and the individuals associated with it.

Updating the information of companies (legal person)

Bring the required legal and tax documents or other supporting documents:

At the Eurobank branch the officers certify the information of companies of any form, both Greek and foreign. They verify the company’s name, registered office, scope, representation manner, shareholding structure, etc.

Updating the information of individuals associated with your company

Certain individuals associated with the company must verify their identity and fully prove their details with the required supporting documents. Such persons are:

  • Legal representatives
  • Beneficial owners
  • Partners holding a more than 25% stake in the company
  • Legal representatives of the company who carry out transactions on its behalf

Supporting documents for sociètès anonymes (SA)

Bring the required supporting documents for the company’s information, board of directors and tax details, as well as supporting documents for the individuals associated with it. Specifically:

Company information

For the beneficial owner, company representatives and company's legal representation we need:

1. The latest codified articles of association of the company

2. The details of the ultimate beneficial owner of the company

3. A copy of the BoD meeting minutes outlining the individuals with a right to sign for the company

In case of change in BoD composition

You must also bring:

4. The decision implementing the change – when a Board member is replaced by the other members (provided they are more than 3)

5. General Meeting minutes – when a Board member is replaced by the General Meeting

If the company has more than one tax residences or is registered abroad, contact a Eurobank branch.

Certain individuals associated with the company must verify their identity and fully prove their details with the required supporting documents. Specifically:

Proof of identity

Supporting documents for proof of identity must be provided by:

  • Partners holding a more than 25% stake
  • Your company’s legal representatives

Proof of tax details

Supporting documents for proof of tax details must be provided by:

  • Partners holding a more than 25% stake
  • Your company’s legal representatives

Proof of address and phone number

Supporting documents for proof of address and phone number must be provided by:

  • Partners holding a more than 25% stake
  • Your company’s legal representatives
  • Company representatives authorised to carry out transactions on its behalf

Proof of employment

Supporting documents for proof of employment must be provided by:

  • Partners holding a more than 25% stake
  • Your company’s legal representatives

  • the legal and regulatory framework in force for credit servicing companies (Law 4354/2015)
  • Law 4557/2018, as amended and in force
  • relevant decision 281/5/17.03.2009 of the Banking and Credit Matters Committee of the Bank of Greece, as amended and in force

Full and correct details

Full details means that we keep in our files:

  1. all the required details we must have and
  2. all the supporting documents that prove your details

as specified by law.

Correct details means that your details are accurate, true and current.

We are legally obligated to regularly verify and update your information pursuant to our regulatory obligations arising from the current legislation as well as to our relationship.
